About the Artist
Terry Ford-Holcomb, a painter based in Royal Oak, Michigan, brings a poetic sensibility to her impressionistic oil paintings. Through fluid brushwork and a nuanced eye for light and color, she captures the fleeting moods of nature – from the fiery glow of autumn waterfalls to the brooding tension of an approaching storm over Lake Michigan. In works like Bond Falls and Approaching Storm, she invites viewers into moments of quiet wonder and emotional resonance with the natural world. Her collage work brings a dual sense of wonder humor, and tension and explores themes of “What If” or “Why Not?”. She is affiliated with the Articipate Collective in Berkley; a group of like minded artists who support each other and celebrate the artistic community.
